BACKGROUND INFORMATION ON THE DIFFERENT TRIBES
AND UNITS IN THE LIORTAGE WAR
				SCENARIO.

This scenario is not based off of any books or movies,
it is totally my creation. All the characters in the scenario
are names that I have made up. All the city names are names that I
have made up.

Now, down to the basics, if you choose to read, this file has extensive coverage
about each unit and tribe in this scenario.

THE NOBLE WARRIORS

A race of knights from the north. Their history traces back to the beginning
of time. Born of a noble line, these knights are regarded as the finest and gentlest
knights in the land. But they will fight hard and long if need be. Their king Leomar,
the oldest known man alive on Liortage, (though in the books, age never showed on Leomar's
stature or face, he always appeared to be in his late twenties by earthly reckoning)
is also the greatest human warrior on Liortage. The Noble Warriors are close friends
with Shasta and the Loran Foresters, for these two tribes often fought side by side
in many a battle. The Noble Warriors though, have not always lived in harmony
with one another. Leomar's brother Renin the wise, did not believe that fighting
and bloodshed was ever the answer. Often arguing long with his brother over the
uselessness of going to war, he decided to take all who agreed with him and
move away from the mountanious region of the north to the south. Leading his band across
the land, he ventured south into the wasteland.(Ninkain was not inhabitating the wasteland
at this time) and wandered there for weeks. He searched for a suitable place to settle
but none could be found. But finally he found just north of the wastelands over the mountains of
Kervash, a green field stretching to the river Wulash. Setting his city on the hill there
his city grew until it became the largest city in Liortage. It was in Rundor that
people came for rest and protection. Rundor became the capitol of the land in goodness
and festivity. Now Shalamond, Leomar's capitol in the north, was forgotten, and the Noble
Warriors did not appear in the people's minds as a haven for safety anymore. But instead
of growing envious, Leomar grew sad. For he knew that nothing of good can come out of the
wasteland, and he had a terrible vision of Rundor falling to dreadful enemies, and
Renin lying dead across his throne. He sent envoys to Renin urging him to listen
to his words, and leave his city before it was too late. But Renin rejected him.
For he did not see the evil growing in the south. So Leomar, realizing that his brother
must choose his own path, reopened the secret underground passages under the mountains.
These his people use to go unhindered into the rest of the land without being seen.
For Leomar knows that evil is in the air, and soon the very rocks of Liortage will
cry out to God. But to help all other free peoples, he has sent his mightiest
general Tirin to go south and attack the Ninkaa.

SHIRAHAD

A race of peoples settled in the seemingly endless plains of Shorrun. Having
a love of horses, these often stubborn knights like nothing better than to hunt
the game in the flat plains. Their leader Ulftor knows and respects Leomar, and his
people, but he does not believe of the danger in the south. In truth, the Shirahad do not want
to believe it, for they are mounting an attack on the Malcans by the sea. The Malcans
wealth has long caught the attention of Ulftor and the Shirahad. The Shirahad have many
fighting men, and knights. But if an attack from another tribe swept into their borders
and into the plains, the Shirahad would be in a dire posistion.

MALCANS

The only race of people to build boats and brave the sea. The wealthiest
race by far, these dark-skinned mercantile people care little for fighting and warfare.
They rely on trading to warm their relations with other tribes. With almost no defense
of their borders, and no city walls with which to fight behind, these sea-going
people do not realize the jealousy of other nations. Although, their capitol city is built
on an island in the middle of the Gurthan sea. It unreachable to every nation. Since the Malcans
are the only tribe with the knowledge of boats. The Malcans, as witless as they may seem to enemies
are aware if the Grevians jealousy in the south-east. They nervously watch the borders
of the Grevians for attack, so far, none has come...yet.

GREVIANS

Mysterious people in the icy, snow covered lands of the south-east. These
hardened warriors led by Clamaeus, a stubborn, warlike, warrior, who rules with an iron
fist. The Grevians are the only tribe that would benefit from an alliance with
the Ninkaa. They have no friends in the upper and central parts of the land, except for the
Shirahad. Calmaeus is close friends with Ulftor, for they both enjoy galloping,
and hunting. The Grevians consider body development utmost in things to gain. All of the
Grevians are well-devoloped, strong, and sturdy. It is said that a Grevian warrior
on foot, could overcome a mounted knight.

LORAN

Wise, peace-loving foresters in the east, these archer-skilled
people tend to keep to themselves, conversing only with the Noble Warriors. Led by
a great hunter, Shasta, they love the ways of the forest.

RINDON

The powerful, central-dwelling knights of the land. These valiant peoples
will bear the brunt of the Ninkaa attack. Directing all traffic through the central
land, the Rindon often frustrate tribes trying to go through. Led by Thraleus, second
in might in the land, they will fight heart and soul against the Ninkaa. For The Rindon
are closely to related to the Noble Warriors in lineage. Having many great
warriors, the Rindon will be looked to defend the upper region against Ninkaa attack.

NINKAA

The vilest, evilest beasts ever to arise, these awful, blood-loving creatures
of the wasteland are led by the great undead master, Ninkain. Having one mindset, to destroy
all other tribes in the land, and bring back the shroud of evil, the Ninkaa are
countless in numbers and might. Only a organized effort by the all the tribes combined
can overthrow the vastness of the Ninkaa.
